As a Recovery Worker, you will provide high-quality support and care to individuals dealing with mental health issues and substance misuse. The role involves working within the community and residential settings to facilitate recovery and promote independence.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Providing one-to-one and group support sessions.
2. Developing, implementing, and reviewing individualised recovery plans.
3. Supporting clients in developing coping strategies and skills for daily living.
4. Assisting clients in accessing appropriate services and community resources.
5. Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients' needs.
6. Collaborating with clients to identify goals and develop action plans.
7. Regularly reviewing and updating recovery plans based on clients' progress.
8. Participating in training and professional development opportunities.
9. Attending regular supervision and team meetings.
Requirements:
1. Experience working with individuals with mental health issues and/or substance misuse.
2. Strong understanding of recovery principles and person-centred care.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
