About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our welcoming Finance Department as a Finance Business Partner, reporting to the Deputy Head of Finance. You will be an integral and proactive member of both the Finance Team and the wider College.
We are seeking to appoint a Finance Business Partner to assist in the provision of high quality and professional financial support and information to revenue and capital budget managers, as well as key stakeholders across the Salford City College Group. You will play a key role in the College’s annual cycle of budget setting, production of monthly management accounts, quarterly forecasts and financial year-end.
We are looking for a colleague with a proactive can-do attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to produce and reconcile complex spreadsheets.
Minimum Requirements
Candidates should hold a minimum of either AAT Level 4 or an accounting degree (or equivalent qualification/experience). You will have experience of management accounting, in particular providing support to budget holders and of producing monthly management information and variance analysis. We are looking for a strong communicator, who is positive about change and innovation.
