Job type Experienced Professional Workplace Hybrid Your Responsibilities Due to continued growth in the team, Risk Control Services are looking for an experienced health and safety professional to join their Casualty team operating across the UK. Role Responsibilities: As a Health and Safety (H&S) Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert advice, guidance, and support to clients across a diverse range of industries. The role will include: Advising clients on H&S legal compliance, risk management strategies, and best practice. Conducting H&S audits/surveys/reviews and producing professional reports. Providing pragmatic solutions to help clients improve their H&S and reduce risk. Developing and delivering H&S training sessions for a range of audiences. Creating bespoke H&S services, tailored to meet the specific needs of clients. Building strong working relationships with external clients and the internal client management and broking teams across the business. Helping to shape and develop our H&S consultancy services as the team continues to grow. Ideally you will be based in the South East / London / East Anglia / Midlands area and able to travel across the UK to visit clients and offices. There may also be occasional opportunity for European/international travel, depending on client requirements. Qualifications Candidate Profile Ideally you will have: Strong knowledge and experience in UK H&S law and the management/reduction of risk. Qualified to NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent), and a Chartered Member of IOSH (or equivalent) or working towards it. Demonstrable experience of H&S consulting/advisory work, including conducting H&S audits/surveys/reviews and delivering H&S training sessions. Proven ability to identify and address systemic issues and the underlying/root causes of accidents, incidents, and work-related ill health. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with people at all levels. The ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Good proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites, including overnight stays where required. A friendly, supportive, professional approach, with the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues, clients, and third parties.
