About the Role In this role, you will lead the end-to-end financial reporting process, ensuring that all financial data is accurately compiled, analysed, and presented. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership to turn financial performance into business strategy that drives the organisation forward. From managing month-end and year-end reporting cycles to refining financial analysis techniques, you will be instrumental in improving the quality and efficiency of financial reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading the end-to-end financial reporting process, ensuring precision and accuracy.
Developing and maintaining detailed financial models that provide actionable business insights.
Collaborating with senior leaders to translate financial results into business strategy.
Managing the month-end and year-end reporting cycles with meticulous attention to detail.
Driving continuous improvements in reporting processes, analysis techniques, and overall financial performance.
About You We’re looking for a Financial Controller who is not just adept with numbers but can also turn financial data into compelling business narratives. If you have a background in External Audit within a recognised accounting firm and then developed your financial reporting experience in industry, this could be your next career move.
You’ll need:
External audit experience, ideally with a recognised accounting firm.
ACA/ACCA qualified.
A deep understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS reporting standards.
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with financial reporting tools.
A proven ability to deliver high-quality, accurate financial reports under pressure.
