Job summary We have some exciting opportunities for individuals to join our Acute Assesment Unit as Health Care Support Workers. The Ambulatory Care Unit (AAU) is situated in the purpose-built facility of the Acute Assessment Unit (AAU) and is co-located next to our beautiful Emergency Department and Ambulatory Care Unit. This has allowed Airedale to develop existing and new patient pathways into the Urgent Care steam including medicine, general surgery, urology and orthopaedics. AAU supports the "Right Care" ethos for our patients. This position is not currently eligible for a certificate of sponsorship in line with Home Office guidance as it does not appear on the skilled worker visa occupation list. Main duties of the job To work as part of the ward or department team in providing compassionate care to patients, service users, carers and families. This is a pivotal role that is essential in providing care and support topatients and service users through direct and indirect care, working within clearly defined limits and attainment of agreed competence.
