Your New Team
As our new Construction Quality Specialist, you will be a part of European Energy UK Limited, consisting of 20+ colleagues working from our office in Glasgow and all over our sites under construction in the UK. You will work closely with our different Construction teams, part of European Energy’s EPC department. We work with contractors, partners, and sub-contractors for the completion of our sites.

Our project pipeline in the UK is in steady growth, and you will be hands-on in many technical, organisational, and commercial aspects with the opportunity to develop professionally and take on more responsibility over time.
Your New Role
As our new Construction Quality Specialist, you will help the construction of utility-scale solar (PV) projects in the UK. In due course, we also expect the delivery of energy storage, onshore wind, and Power-to-X projects to form part of the UK portfolio.
You will see yourself in an environment with many interesting tasks. You are well organized and have solid interpersonal skills to engage with local contractors and in-house departments.
Areas of Responsibilities
* Ensure that construction projects adhere to quality standards, regulations, and specifications.
* Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols for construction sites.
* Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to identify deficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
* Work with project managers and site supervisors to address quality issues and ensure corrective actions are taken.
* Manage and track inspection reports, logs, and other quality documentation.
* Train and verify that contractor’s personnel adhere to quality control procedures and best practices.
* Collaborate with contractors and engineers to resolve quality-related issues.
* Monitor and assess the performance of contractors to ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards.
* Ensure that all construction work is completed safely and meets health and safety regulations.
Your Profile
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
* Several years of experience in quality control within the construction industry, ideally renewable energy sector.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
* Thorough understanding of PV construction codes and safety standards.
* Ability to interpret layouts and specifications.
* Proficiency in quality control software and tools.
* You are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
* You are willing to travel across the UK to construction sites as required, spending time away from home with occasional travel to our head office in Denmark.
* You are a creative problem solver.
