Systems of Systems Engineer

£45,000 - £52,000 depending on experience
Due to the nature of the role & the industry you will be working in, you will be required to achieve UK SC Clearance.
We have an opportunity for a Systems of Systems Engineer to join us and be involved in an exciting project. You will be responsible for several things, including the integration of the component parts into a whole system, defining customer requirements, and utilizing systems engineering methods. You will be involved throughout the lifecycle and develop solutions to meet the customer requirements.
Day to day you will be:
1. Helping to develop concepts for Aviation Projects
2. Leading or supporting technical studies to inform system requirements, architecture, and concepts
3. Supporting assessment of system concepts e.g., technical viability, adaptability, interoperability
4. Attending/leading meetings and workshops to progress studies
5. Contributing your expertise to understanding risks, assumptions, and dependencies
6. Attending planning and coordination meetings and reporting on your work
Key skills we are looking for:
1. Degree educated in a STEM discipline or HND/HNC with sound experience of the Engineering Lifecycle
2. Experience of Model Based Engineering approaches and the supporting methods and toolsets
3. Experience in an engineering integration environment
4. Good communicator at all levels of an organisation with the ability to forge partnerships with internal and external customers
5. Experience of structured tool sets such as MooD and Cameo
