In this role, you will contribute to all aspects of instrumentation, control, and automation engineering, working on transformational programmes that support critical UK infrastructure. You will be involved in delivering integrated solutions across a variety of sectors. Experience - Chartered Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer. - Experience in leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary design. - Sound knowledge ICA design (instrumentation, PLC and SCADA systems), motor control systems, system architecture, fieldbus/communication networks, P&ID’s, ATEX installation practice, functional safety, development of control specifications (URS/FDS), schedules and system requirements within process/industrial environment. - Proficiency in designing within appropriate digital analysis packages, following applicable standards, working practices and national guidance. Job Responsibilities Lead a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels. Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals. Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes. Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions. Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.
