We are pleased to advertise a full time, Band STT administrator - Colorectal to work at Salford Royal Hospital which is part of the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust.
Working with the cancer services STT team, the post holder will support with administrative duties for the Lower GI STT service. You will support the Navigators and STT clinical team with suspected cancer pathways through the facilitation and coordination of administrative duties, typing and FIT results.
1. Supporting the STT team with all administrative duties.
2. To type the STT letters.
3. Make and answer calls and handle queries.
4. To follow processes to ensure a FIT result is available for all patients referred to the Trust on a lower GI suspected cancer pathway.
5. To ensure that all data and FIT reports are acted upon, and the data captured on SCR.
6. To assist in the validation of all data relating to FIT testing.
7. To ensure that all deadlines are met to ensure patient pathways are not compromised.
8. To work with the MDT coordinators and trackers to help manage Lower GI pathways whilst avoiding duplication.
9. To use the Trust's Cancer Registry system and Microsoft Office tools, i.e. Excel spreadsheets, to add and manage relevant data pertaining to waiting times, audit, and FIT data.
10. To assist and provide administrative and clerical support to the cancer services management team as required.
11. To carry out any other reasonable duties as assigned by the cancer services management team.
12. To collect data to support with research and audits.
13. To manage the generic STT inbox.
14. To manage the benign/routine tracker for patients that have been stepped off the 2WW pathway.
15. To support with booking appointments and arranging complex appointments for patients.
