Your Role in Building Brighter Futures
As an Admin Assistant at Woolavington Village Primary School, you will play a key role in contributing to the delivery of Futura’s mission statement of “Building the brightest future for all, enabling every individual to flourish”. As the Admin Assistant, you will be responsible for:
To undertake administration and reception duties such as greeting all visitors to the school creating a welcoming environment, whilst maintaining the safeguarding of the school by ensuring visitors sign in and issue badges.
To respond to enquires appropriately in a timely way, either from the school email, telephone or from visitors to the school.
Take responsibility of ensuring messages are passed on to the appropriate recipient.
To undertake routine administrative and clerical tasks as required, including maintaining local databases /spreadsheets for recording of information needed at the school.
Maintain and update electronic databases as necessary, ensuring the information is current and valid including CSR, BROMCOM and CPOMS.
Responsible for ensuring the school is adequately stocked with stationery.
Manage and administer payments for catering needs and school activities.
Maintain school notice boards, update timetables and rotas.
Produce and circulate school newsletter.
Adherence to the school’s safeguarding protocols.
To undertake any other duties that are commensurate with the role and grade.

Qualifications: GCSE passes in Maths and English at grade C or 4 or above
Experience: Working as part of a team, front of house and a busy office
Skills: excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent organization and as the ability to prioritise and multi task
Demonstrates a passion for creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all members of our school community
