Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Groups and Activities Coordinator located in Solihull, West Midlands at Age UK Solihull. The Coordinator will be responsible for organizing and coordinating various activities and groups for older individuals, facilitating social engagement and community involvement on-site.
Qualifications
* Strong organizational and coordination skills
* Experience in event planning and group facilitation
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively with older individuals and volunteers
* Understanding of the needs and challenges faced by older people
* Knowledge of local community resources and services for the elderly
* Previous experience working in a similar role is beneficial
* Relevant qualification in social work, gerontology, or related field
