Excited by growth? If so, keep reading! We are currently recruiting for a driven, strategic and passionate Territory Sales Manager to generate a continous stream of sales revenue and profit for our business.
The role:
Your role as Territory Sales Manager will be to help grow and win new sales & business by opening credit trade accounts, reactivating dormant customers, and increasing low spending credit accounts. As Territory Sales Manager you will "own" these accounts for a period of 12 months before they are transferred to a Branch, Senior or National Account Manager.
The Territory, for this Territory Sales Manager, will be across the North West.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute sales plan to Identify and pursue new trade and existing account sales opportunities within the specified territory maximising business support resources effectively as well as ensuring cost effectiveness.
2. Proactively engage with potential customers, understand their business requirements and position our products /services to secure supply from the whole of our portfolio.
3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Regional Director/Managers, External Sales, Branch, Specialist and Head office support teams to align strategies & activity, utilise specialist knowledge and expertise to create an industry leading customer offer.
4. Form working relationships with sales personnel of key suppliers operating within assigned territory, ensuring that use of effective joint calling activity is maximised.
5. Build a comprehensive knowledge of your assigned Territory to include; Customer opportunities, market trends, competitor activity across all of our target market sectors.
6. Keep informed and up to date on industry and technological trends, market conditions and competitor activity to identify opportunities and potential threats using this market intelligence to adapt the territory strategy, product and promotional activity to deliver the best result for our target customers.
7. To be famous for promoting and advocating City Plumbing & the wider Highbourne group specialist business units for providing bespoke solutions to the marketplace to be customer’s choice.
8. Provide regular updates to the Regional Director/Manager on progress toward target and strategy using existing business reporting tools to track sales, customer interactions and overall performance.
