Properties are located across Nottingham City and other parts of Nottingham so a car for work purposes and a full driving licence is required. The Service is based at 40 Forest Road in Nottingham City. A support Planner is responsible for providing support to an allocated number of tenants by following an agreed plan completed by a Support planner, Reviews are carried out every 3 months. The workload can be up to 15 residents in mixed Tenure and different addresses at any one time so the ability to prioritise and team work is a must as we are very busy team, a can do attitude and a common sense approach is essential in this role. Targeted Support provides support to Framework tenants across approximately 70 units of accommodation so therefore caseload changes occur as Tenants move out and new tenants move in. We work very closely with the Housing Management team, so an ability to foster good working and positive relationships with another team is very important as is an understanding of their role as well as your own. The ability to complete concise and clear paperwork in electronic form is a must, knowledge of electronic recording systems or similar would be an advantage. Workers carry the majority of caseload but because of the nature of the service will work closely and in partnership with an allocated planner so some experience in benefits / budgeting etc. is desired but updated training will be given to the right person.
