Chethams is a unique cultural institution and charity in the heart of Manchester combining music, education, and heritage. Our main 482 seat venue is modern and purpose built, and our whole team pride themselves in the variety of events delivered, our excellent team and team working, and the excellent artist, client and audience experiences that we facilitate.
The Job:
* We are looking for someone with proven excellent people skills to manage our front of house experience and staff, taking general operational responsibility for events, including staffing as well as oversight of risk assessments and venue health and safety.
* We are looking for a minimum hours commitment of 21 hours a week (preferably 28 hours a week), with the option to work additional hours on top.
* Part time salaried role with flexible working patterns
* Start date ASAP, subject to relevant checks
In Return:
* Paid SCP 21-23 £30,322 £31,955 FTE per annum pro rata
* Work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
* Have access to free catered lunches during term time, and free tickets to selected concerts
* Free onsite parking when working on events
