Position Summary
Nestlé Professional (NP) is the Business-to-Business food service arm of Nestlé, specialising in Out of Home food and beverage solutions. The unrivalled portfolio of NP includes food brands such as GARDEN GOURMET and renowned Coffee brands including ‘We Proudly Serve’ STARBUCKS, NESCAFÉ, and SEATTLES BEST COFFEE. Operating in the exciting out of home marketplace, NP has ambitious objectives and is a key growth driver for Nestlé.
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Out of Home (OOH) team here at Nestlé Professional as Head of Cash & Carry & Vending where you will have accountability for Nestlé Professional’s Cash & Carry HO, Vending Wholesale & Buying Group Customers and will lead a team of 4 direct reports.
Reporting to our Sales Director, you will be a key member of the NP Sales Leadership Team and will lead and develop a multi-category Cash & Carry & Vending Team to achieve defined Commercial targets through engagement with customers and the effective execution of aligned Category/Channel Strategies and Business Plans.
A day in the life of a Head of Cash & Carry & Vending…
In this high-profile role that offers visible leadership and ownership of the P&L, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Create a comprehensive to market plan and strategies to ensure targets are met consistently and sustainably
2. Link market macro dynamics and customer/industry knowledge to develop actionable customer insight
3. Key customer and industry contact strategy and matrix
4. Customer capacity management plan, ensuring coverage across business priorities within defined customers
5. Input into the Integrated Commercial Planning (ICP) process
6. Sell NP Sales Plan aligned to NP's Channel/Category priorities to senior/executive customer contacts
7. Support the Cash & Carry & Vending Account team in building customer specific proposals and plans based on customer insight
8. Ensure all NiM key selling skills (Solution Selling, 4C's, Total Negotiation, Ebusiness) standards are adhered to by customer facing team
9. Drive responsibility for the monthly C&C/Vending commercial planning process (Weekly operational review, CR, MGR, TDS Reviews) identifying gaps versus plans and contingencies across the Team
10. Customer CIP documents and JBP plans
11. Execute Route to Market (RTM) annual plan, working on a 130% mentality (growth mindset)
12. Lead and manage monthly/quarterly C&C/Vending budgets to ensure robust forecasting and investment management
13. Coach and drive the performance and long-term development of the team, through full training and succession planning
