Castlefield Recruitment are pleased to be working in partnership with a respected Healthcare organisation based in Bath, who are looking to recruit a Medical Secretary on a 3 month interim basis.
Key duties and responsibilities will include:
1. Responsible for the provision of high quality and efficient administrative and secretarial service.
2. Prioritise work resulting from opening post, dealing with any correspondence where necessary and reporting any issues which need to be escalated.
3. Responsible for ensuring that day-to-day workload is organised, managing the consultant’s diary and ensuring that priorities are identified.
4. Typing of clinic letters and any other correspondence.
5. Must have experience working in a secretarial role.
6. Previous experience of typing, formatting of clinic letters, reports and non-clinical letters.
7. Understanding of medical terminology.
8. Track record of ensuring prescriptions are signed off for collection.
