Company: Marsh Commercial Description: We have a new opportunity for an experienced Claims Advisor to join our teams in our Leeds or Glasgow offices. We are Marsh Commercial, a diverse community of colleagues, serving a diverse community of clients with insurance, risk management and employee health and benefits advice and solutions. The main focus of this role is to proactively manage a portfolio of predominantly Commercial Claims ensuring service delivery is in line with client expectations. The job holder will be expected to conclude matters in an efficient and professional manner whilst ensuring all parties are kept fully appraised throughout the claims process. The ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders is essential. What can you expect? We will rely on you to: Advocate for clients during the claims process, ensuring their interests are properly represented. Proactively manage an allocated caseload. Ensure all client requests and queries are dealt with promptly and accurately. Gather all relevant claims information and documentation. Provide claims advice to clients, managing expectations and keeping them informed of all necessary developments. Take action on all new claims and report to the relevant insurers within applicable SLAs and KPIs. Communicate effectively with all key stakeholders, attending internal meetings to represent claims. Build and manage effective internal and external relationships with all involved parties. Proactively manage diary tasks. Ensure all files are maintained and data capture is accurate and up to date. Produce claims reports as required. Adhere to all regulatory process requirements. Process DA claims in accordance with scheme requirements. Ensure claims are accurately reserved. What you need to have: Commercial Claims experience is essential Effective communication & negotiation skills. Ability to influence and build relationships. Ability to prioritise and organise own workload. Strong customer service skills.
