They combine this with their expert team of building service engineers and structural engineers to deliver low and net zero carbon solutions to their clients.As part of their sustainability offering, their services include the provision of a full range of environmental and health and wellbeing assessment methods including BREEAM (including In-Use), Home Quality Mark, CEEQUAL, WELL and FitWel. They also help develop Net Zero Carbon Strategies, undertaking Whole Life Cycle Assessments and Operational Energy Assessments. One of their Directors was one of the first in the UK to become a NABERS Assessor and is currently working in the cross-industry body developing the UK's first Net Zero Carbon Building Standard. The RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sustainability consultant looking to take the next step in their career. You will join a growing team to work on a diverse range of projects in the UK and internationally, with responsibility for delivering your own projects and helping to guide the team across both their London at Oxford offices. For this role they are looking for someone with experience working with BREEAM and other certifications, as well as wider areas of Sustainability such as building physics, Net-Zero strategies, ESG and whole life cycle carbon assessments.Working closely with colleagues of various disciplines across both offices, you will take the lead on sustainability projects - developing concepts, reports and presenting to clients. You will ensure the successful delivery of innovative sustainable and low-carbon design solutions to quality standards and deadlines. You will receive continual support from senior members of staff, along with access to their in-house training programme allowing you to continue your professional development.This role will enable you to have an impact across a variety of sectors in the built environment, with the opportunity for greater levels of responsibility and autonomy. The role is ideally suited for someone looking to take the next step in their career, and wanting to work on prestigious, high-profile projects. About YouFor this role you will have gained significant demonstrable experience in a sustainability consultancy role within the built environment. The successful candidate should be highly motivated, possess excellent communication skills and look to develop their ongoing professional qualifications.Essential Requirements:4-6 years' experience in a similar sustainability role (although applications from exceptional candidates with less experience will also be considered).Educated to degree level in the field of sustainability and/or environmental science.Experience of working on BREEAM assessments through to certification, with BREEAM Assessor and/or BREEAM AP qualification.Experience of working on ESG strategies for real estate clients.Good communication/presentation skills and excellent report writing skills.Understanding of client requirements/project objectives.Good knowledge of the sustainability related statutory legislation, standards, and drivers in the construction industry.Preferential:Knowledge and application of Life Cycle Assessment methodologies.Knowledge of Home Quality Mark and WELL/ FitWel assessments.Understanding of Part L & Dynamic Simulation Modelling.
