A fantastic role has become available to work for a very well-established and expanding company within the Great Bridge area.
Responsibilities:
As a Sales Administrator/Coordinator, your main responsibility is to ensure the effective and efficient quotation for new bespoke products/projects and to provide effective and efficient assistance to the Business Development Manager commercial team. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service and communication skills and will have experience working with quotations.
Main Duties & Tasks:
1. Administration and control over quotations from customers for new products and projects.
2. Liaising with technical team about customer quotations and ensuring all relevant information is available and feasible.
3. Liaising with Technical team about selecting appropriate suppliers for projects from current approved supplier files.
4. Reviewing supplier quotations with technical team to ensure that feasibility documents have been completed and that any issues are addressed.
5. Preparing quotations and pricing schedules to be supplied to the customer.
6. Processing purchase orders.
7. Raising Purchase Orders for new product introduction with suppliers.
8. Creation and review of project timelines.
9. Offering new products information and technical reviews between customers, suppliers, and internal departments.
10. Maintaining correct customer and business information.
11. Liaise with Customers, Suppliers, Technical, Warehouse and Quality Departments.
12. Expediting of new product information Purchase Orders.
13. Ensure smooth handover of products/projects to customer service and material planning teams once complete.
14. Ensure emails and other correspondence are professional, contain the appropriate information whilst remaining concise.
15. Answering and addressing of email and telephone enquiries.
16. Filing and general administration tasks.
Person Specifications:
1. Good understanding of Technical Drawings would be desirable but not essential.
2. Commercially astute.
3. IT literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Office & Teams applications (Word, Excel & Outlook).
4. Able to work quickly.
5. Good attention to detail.
6. Knowledge of sales, purchasing and material planning.
7. Experience of stock systems and processing sales orders.
8. A positive outlook and a ‘can do’ attitude.
9. The ability to remain calm when working under pressure and to customer deadlines.
