As the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of all facilities within the designated region. Your primary goal will be to create a safe, functional, and comfortable work environment for employees while optimising operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement facility management policies and procedures
2. Oversee the maintenance of all buildings, grounds, and equipment
3. Manage vendor relationships and contracts for facility services
4. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
5. Develop and manage the facilities budget
6. Coordinate with various departments to meet their facility-related needs
7. Implement sustainable practices to reduce the company's environmental footprint
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in facilities management, preferably in a regional or multi-site capacity
2. Strong leadership and communication skills
3. Excellent problem-solving abilities
4. Knowledge of building systems and regulations
5. Certification in Facility Management
