Main duties of the job The Mental Health Nurse in Inpatient Services is a core member of the ward team. They will act as a 'named nurse' for a specific group of inpatients on the ward and take responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of their nursing care needs. The nurse will take clinical leadership of the ward environment on a shift by shift basis as required working in a way that promotes the principles of recovery to ensure individualised, safe and effective care provision for all patients.
