Job Summary: The UK Director of Strategic Partnerships is responsible for driving growth by developing and managing strategic partnerships with schools, American colleges, and other stakeholders. The role involves business development, relationship cultivation, and representing the organization at industry events, while also managing a small caseload of students as a college admissions counselor.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Partnership Development & Management: Lead initiatives, serve as the primary representative to partners, cultivate relationships, and expand market reach through outreach activities. Manage partnerships budget and oversee conference planning and execution, including industry events and webinars.
2. University Admissions Counseling and Guidance: Provide expert counseling to students (up to 20 at a time), guiding them through college search, applications, and essay development. Conduct sessions via video or in-person, and support partner institutions with college application resources.
3. Other Responsibilities: Contribute to strategic planning, liaise with the UK Director, attend team meetings, and support organizational development.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in education, counseling, sales, or business development.
* Strong knowledge of US college admissions, experience advising UK students preferred.
* Excellent communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency with CRM and Excel/Google Sheets; ability to develop new business opportunities.
* Willingness to travel domestically for relationship management.
Salary and Benefits:
* Annual compensation: £60,000 - £95,000 (Base: £48,000 - £56,000), plus commissions, bonuses, and health insurance.
