We are pleased to have exclusively partnered with an established college group to recruit a part time Health and Safety Officer to the growing SHE team.
This is a rare and exciting part time opportunity, working 2.5 to 3 days a week with flexible hours. Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager, you will be joining a dedicated team to assist in ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff and students.

The Health and Safety Officer will be responsible for:
* Working alongside the Safety, Health and Environment Manager in the development and monitoring of safety, health and environment policies and procedures
* Engaging with management and Safety Representatives to identify safety, health and environmental requirements
* Provide assistance in the reporting and where required investigation of incidents and near misses
* Assisting management to making improvements following safety, health and environment audits
* Ensure routine safety, health and environment audits activities and checks are carried out
To be considered for this role you should have:
* IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent qualification
* Experience in a Health and Safety role, or a position with relevant Health and Safety responsibilities
* The skills and ability to work as part of a team
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
In return, the successful candidate will receive a salary of up to £40,000 pro-rata based on 2.5 to 3 days a week, and an excellent benefits package.
