The Role
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision:
Oversee Credit Controllers at the hotel level, ensuring efficient credit management and adherence to company policies.
Account Management:
Manage rental accounts and some Accounts Receivable (AR) Central accounts, ensuring timely collections and accurate record-keeping.
Credit Facility Management:
Monitor and manage credit facilities, ensuring companies that exceed their credit limits are identified and managed promptly.
Bad Debt Provision:
Responsible for the company’s bad debt provision, including regular reviews and adjustments to reflect current financial status.
Aged Debt:
Monitor and manage aged debt, implementing strategies to reduce overdue accounts and improve cash flow.
Reporting:
Prepare and present regular reports on credit control activities, aged debt, and bad debt provisions to senior management.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
