Join our team as a Junior Automation Informatics Specialist and collaborate with BD stakeholders to provide expertise in Network Configuration, Computer Infrastructure, and troubleshooting for Middleware solutions. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional product support and ensuring smooth implementation of our Laboratory Automation solutions at customer sites.
This is a field position with the exciting opportunity to visit customers across the EMEA region. You have the flexibility to be based anywhere in the UK, as long as your chosen location is easily accessible.

Main responsibilities will include:
* Managing IT server installations and troubleshooting related issues. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for continuous product improvement.
* Collaborate on comprehensive project plans.
* Configuring data management solutions, including Laboratory Informatics System connectivity.
* Guidance of implementations in the field of microbiology.
About you:
* Degree in Computer Sciences/Networking/Technical or equivalent.
* Acquaintance in information systems, computer hardware, OS configuration, network design and troubleshooting, and virtualization technologies.
* Experience in Information Security and in SQL Service installations is a plus.
* Experience in flow cytometry, microbiology, molecular diagnostics or BD medical devices is not essential, but an advantage.
* Customer-centric approach, adaptable problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple work streams.
* Comfortable with up to 60% travel across the EMEA region.
