Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks within the warehouse environment, including loading and unloading goods, stock management, and ensuring quality control. This role requires physical stamina and a keen eye for detail to maintain the smooth operation of our warehouse.
Responsibilities
Load and unload materials and products from lorries and containers.
Manage stock levels by accurately picking, packing, and storing items.
Perform heavy lifting as required to move products safely.
Handle materials with care to prevent damage during transportation.
Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure compliance with company standards.
Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely dispatch of goods.
Utilise a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory and managing stock levels effectively.Experience
Previous experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous but not essential.
Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for operating equipment and performing minor repairs.
Familiarity with materials handling techniques and safety regulations is preferred.
