Ward 7 at Hull Royal Infirmary is a Vascular Surgical ward that takes a combination of waiting list admissions and acute admissions requiring emergency surgery or radiological procedures. It is a demanding and ever changing environment which is both challenging and rewarding. An induction period is provided along with a preceptorship programme, and ongoing training sessions to develop skills and knowledge relating to the vascular patient.

As a registered nurse, the successful candidates will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care during their span of duty. Caring for patients who require complex wound management, involving Larvae therapy (maggots), Negative wound Therapy and Compression dressings.
