Female Learning Disabilities Support Worker
Location: Bridgwater, Somerset
Shifts: Days (Monday-Sunday: 09:00 - 21:00 & 13:30-21:00) Nights (Monday-Sunday: Sleep-ins 21:00-10:30)
Pay Rates (including holiday pay): Days £16.81 / Nights £18.91 / Weekends £21.01
As an ‘Outstanding’ CQC-rated care provider, Thornbury Community Services recruits learning disabilities support workers to utilize their skills and expertise to enable our clients to live safe and fulfilled lives where they can achieve personal goals, learn new hobbies, and take trips into the community.
We are looking to recruit support workers in the South West, with UK-based learning disabilities, Autism & mental health care experience to support a lady in her 30s. This is a community-based support role.
Role Requirements:
We are looking for mental health support workers with a minimum of 12 months of UK-based experience who are passionate, resilient, and highly skilled. In order to be considered for this role, you must have the following key skills/experience:
* Experience and confidence in performing physical interventions (restraints) in the last two years
* Experience supporting clients with anxiety and depression
* Medication management
* 12 months UK work experience within a relevant support worker role
