About Our Client: Our client is building the next generation of advertising products, transforming the ads user experience and delivering unique value for advertisers.
What are Shops Ads? Shops Ads is a major Commerce effort throughout the company, allowing advertisers to optimise for purchases happening within our clients' apps. This creates a differentiated and relevant buyer experience by personalising the end-to-end buyer journey, from ad impression to the post-purchase experience.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Develop a deeper understanding of products to recommend and match those to the user and their journey stage.
2. Utilise ML to heavily personalise the onsite journey of buyers and help accelerate this further with strategic input.
3. Engage in analysis and input into strategic investment areas to help drive the team to deliver the most impact.
The Team: The team is responsible for ranking products users may interact with on their ecommerce journey, currently consisting of 10 engineers.
Who We’re Looking For: A strong Data Scientist with experience (or a strong interest) in both ads and eCommerce, with an interest in ML and personalisation to enhance performance. The ideal candidate should have the ability to communicate clearly and drive alignment with stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications: Some quantitative degree, SQL and Python experience, and ML experience. 8-10 years’ experience.
