Job Description
1. Monitor and identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk, developing and implementing corrective action plans for resolution.
2. Review and update the company's compliance policies and procedures.
3. Maintain knowledge of all applicable legal requirements and understand their impact on the business.
4. Prepare compliance reports and present them to management.
5. Coordinate compliance training for employees.
6. Investigate any instances of non-compliance and take appropriate action.
7. Collaborate with other departments to create a culture of compliance.
8. Conduct periodic internal reviews to ensure compliance procedures are being followed.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Compliance Associate should have:
1. A degree in law, finance, business management or a related field.
2. Experience in a compliance role within the financial services industry.
3. Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping.
4. Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
5. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
