Job responsibilities Job Summary This is a key role within the Children, Maternity and Personalised Care team within Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board (ICB) Directorate of Integrated Commissioning. The role is essential in supporting system wide collaborative working to facilitate the delivery of multi-priority work streams identified specifically by the Childrens Clinical Programme Group. This role will undertake and lead on service improvement projects for children and young people, delivering Integrated Care System (ICS) priorities and supporting the delivery of new care pathways, service improvements and new models of care, with the support of with senior colleagues. The Senior Project Manager will directly contribute to improving the health and wellbeing for our population and ensuring the sustainability of our local services. The post holder will work collaboratively with stakeholders, both inside and outside of the NHS to implement change and make improvements to both service delivery, outcomes and experience for children, young people and their parents/carers. This could be in the form of developing new care pathways or models of care. The Senior Project Manager, supported by the Deputy Director, Associate Directors and Senior Commissioning Programme Managers, will contribute expertise and knowledge on implementation and sustainability of programmes to ensure change plans are embedded within services and deliver the expected outcomes. Maintaining strong working relationships across organisational boundaries and ensuring successful project delivery are pivotal aspects to this role. The post holder will ensure that their workstream of programmes are planned and managed effectively and take the lead in assisting in their successful delivery.
