We are currently recruiting for a well-established industrial distribution company nestled up in the high peak area. Forming part of a largest group, the company has well established supply routes across Europe, South America, and Asia. This role offers the autonomy and responsibility to take the lead with the maintenance department on site. Working in a traditional manual environment, we are looking for a cost-conscious character to take the lead of Capex Project, Maintenance Management and motivating the team. This role is ideal for an experienced engineering professional who excels in managing operations, ensuring safety and quality standards, and optimizing cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure safe site operation through effective engineering control and maintenance.
2. Coordinate with Operations to balance production, quality, safety, and environmental standards.
3. Develop and oversee maintenance schedules, adjusting as necessary.
4. Implement and monitor safety and quality standards, ensuring compliance with legislation.
5. Review and manage costs of energy, materials, and labour to adhere to budget.
