Salary: £25,584 - £27,711 (pro rata)

The school
Dobcroft Infant School is a friendly, welcoming, and creative school with an inclusive ethos. We have a 26 place pre-school and three form entry (90 children in each year) foundation stage two and KS1. The school is in south west Sheffield, in the Millhouses region. The role
Dobcroft Infants have an exciting opportunity for a talented and caring candidate to join our team as a level 3 teaching assistant. Whilst we would be appreciate applications from candidates holding all level 3 qualifications, would be very interested in hearing from candidates with a level 3 qualification that is full and relevant in a Foundation Stage 1 (pre-school). This role is to work as part of a team of teaching assistants and alongside class teachers to assist with the teaching and support of children in order to provide high quality provision. Some of the children with whom you would be working could have specific needs. These may include autism, ADHD, learning and speech difficulties and/or social, emotional and behavioural needs. You may be required to support children with these needs within our internal SEND base as well as working with a wide range of children within the classroom.
We are a trauma informed school and are therefore seeking someone with a genuine passion for developing positive relationships and a commitment to providing a relational approach to supporting children, particularly those with special needs.
