ARCA is partnered with a rapidly scaling, world class motion simulation business seeking to expand its operations team.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Project Manager with resource management experience; it’s a brand new position due to expansion. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high technology business which is working with some of the biggest F1 and motorsport companies.
The Project Manager will have the opportunity to be an influencing figure within the company, with exposure to every project. You will be instrumental in ensuring the successful planning and delivery of projects on time; not only meeting safety and compliance requirements but also the technical and budgetary specifications. Key duties include but are not limited to:
* Working within a team of technical experts who specialise in the design, build and commissioning of world class motion simulators.
* Responsible for assuring that all projects deliver safe equipment that satisfies all of the requirements.
* Managing multiple projects utilizing the appropriate systems, processes, and resources to facilitate optimal delivery.
* Identifying, managing, and mitigating risks and issues, agreeing accountabilities and responsibilities with the wider project team.
* Coordinating and communicating project scope, identifying dependencies, and understanding the critical path to secure timely project delivery.
Qualifications:
* Experience of working as a Project Manager on tech/engineering projects.
* A degree qualification is preferred.
* In-depth understanding of Project Management fundamentals.
* Experience managing senior level internal stakeholders.
* Matrix approach.
* Desirable: Experience of working within an engineering company in a non-technical project management/project coordinator position.
* Understanding or experience of software, hardware, or simulation projects.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
* A logical approach to tasks and problem-solving.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Ability to work in a high-pressure dynamic environment.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Collaboration and engagement skills.
