We’re looking for an IT Assistant to join our vibrant and dynamic IT team.

As an IT Assistant at Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, you will be responsible for:
* Have a solid understanding of workstations, servers, and network infrastructure, mostly under Microsoft platforms.
* Provide Hotel Guests and Colleagues with 1st Line technical support.
* Assemble and configure network components and associated services.
* Establish network users, user environments, directories, and security for networks being installed.
* Install, upgrade, and configure network printing, directory structures, rights, security, software, and file services.
* Upgrade network hardware and software components as required.
* Troubleshoot all sorts of IT-related issues, both internal and with vendors.
* Demonstrate strong communication skills with both guests and colleagues.
As an IT Assistant, you will be working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 40 hours a week. Shift patterns will vary from morning to evening, including weekends and bank holidays, so flexibility is required where applicable.
To be a successful IT Assistant candidate, you must have: basic knowledge of systems integration, Active directories, wiring setups, testing, and maintaining the DRP, BCP, HSIA, and IRES Systems in the hotel.
