The Connection Coordinator will report to the Team Leader and will work within Connections Services, Network Operations based in our Bury St Edmunds office. You will be a permanent employee.
You will attract a salary of £34,170 per annum and a bonus of 3%.

Job Purpose:
Connections Services is responsible for the end-to-end service provision of metered connections to customers requiring new or altered services within the Broad Measure of Customer Service (BMoCS) minor category. This includes services for 1 to 4 properties or power requirements up to 69kVA.
Dimensions:
The role involves managing the end-to-end process for works up to 69kVA in categories LVSSA & LVSSB, including raising inquiries, providing quotations, scheduling delivery teams, and supporting customer interactions throughout each stage of the job.
You will deliver excellent customer service, providing quotations, booking site visits, processing payments, raising MPAN numbers, and coordinating work execution. You will be the main contact for customers, supporting them through each stage.
Principal Accountabilities:
* Develop strong relationships with customers
* Receive and process initial customer inquiries
* Book surveyor site visits
* Raise, issue, and manage customer quotations
* Process customer payments
* Operate work management tools (SAP and SAP CRM) and PC systems for planning, issuing, and completing work
* Liaise with operatives and contractors regarding site issues
* Investigate and escalate customer complaints
* Record and coordinate Electricity Guaranteed Standards and GSOP Standards
* Assist with compliance or UAT projects
* Support management and wider team through various projects, including financial, business process, regulatory, or compliance activities

Nature and Scope:
The Connections Coordinator role is crucial and rewarding, directly influencing UK Power Networks' BMoCS performance. Given that at least 70% of customers are one-off transactional clients, creating a positive, lasting impression is essential. This requires customer-facing staff trained to explain technical aspects clearly and understandably.
The Connection Coordinator will report directly to the Connection Services Team Leader.
