PE Teacher Required – Easter Start
Are you a passionate and dedicated PE teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity? This role is due to begin in Easter, with the potential to be extended until the end of the academic year for the right candidate.
The Role:
We are looking for a PE teacher who can inspire students to develop their physical fitness, teamwork, and leadership skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and dynamic PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring all students are motivated to participate and progress in their physical education. The role will also involve supporting extracurricular sports activities and contributing to the school’s wider sporting initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons tailored to students’ needs and abilities.
2. Encourage a positive and inclusive sporting culture within the school.
3. Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
4. Support and lead extracurricular activities, sports teams, and school competitions.
5. Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the PE curriculum and department.
The Ideal Candidate:
1. Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
2. Has experience teaching PE at secondary school level.
3. Demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills.
4. Is passionate about promoting health, fitness, and well-being among students.
5. Can inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
