Here's what you'll be doing
npower Business Solutions (nBS) is the E.ON UK Industrial and Commercial (I&C) pillar and a market leader in the B2B energy retail sector. I&C is a £6 billion revenue business serving c60,000 customers and around 300,000 meter points with a view to becoming the number one B2B energy supplier in the UK.
We are looking for x4 Gas Metering Specialists to join our team, x2 roles on a permanent basis and x2 roles on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis. For this role, you will provide analytical and administrative support to internal and external customers, contributing towards excellent customer service. This role offers the hybrid working approach, where you will be working in the office (Solihull) 2 days per week.
Key responsibilities
* Investigate and resolve a wide range of complex gas metering issues or customer queries, liaising with other internal and external parties as necessary, to provide an appropriate, acceptable resolution for the customer.
* Liaising with the customer and dealing with their gas metering issues at a portfolio level, maximising the efficiency of resolution in line with business, geographic and commercial prioritisations.
* Ensure third party agents and contributors understand their role in delivering customer service and ensure SLAs are agreed and adhered to.
* Report on and analyse the performance of specific processes and investigate process failures to recommend improvements and ensure effective delivery of team targets.
* Provide subject matter expertise to process and system change and implementation, create test materials and assure process documentation to ensure department processes are efficient and consistent with business and industry requirements.
* Provide expertise on a range of end-to-end processes to raise awareness within teams and ensure tasks are appropriately handled.
* Provide scheduled feedback on workload prioritisation to team management, monitor progress and provide scheduled updates to ensure performance standards are met.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory and industry targets and requirements in relation to Supplier gas responsibilities.

* The ability to investigate and resolve a wide range of complex issues or customer queries, liaising with other parties as necessary, to provide an appropriate, acceptable and fully compliant resolution.
* An adaptive thinking style and the ability to utilise knowledge and experience to make decisions.
* The ability to carry out data analysis to identify root causes, identify and implement solutions to improve data quality.
* Stakeholder management experience, with the ability to establish and build enduring relationships with internal and external groups.

* Knowledge of the UK Energy Industry, including gas industry dataflows
* Enthusiasm for delivering and exceeding business performance with a strong growth mindset.
* Creative thinking to find new opportunities and resolve emerging problems.
* Experience of using Junifer Systems.
