Overview:Compass Associates is delighted to be working with a leading provider of compassionate and high-quality home care services. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the Coordination, Administration, and Recruitment teams. This pivotal role reports directly to the Operations Director and is essential in ensuring the seamless delivery of services, maintaining quality standards, managing staff, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Salary & Benefits:
For the Interim position an equivalent £45-50,000 Basic Salary. With other enhancements including:

Candidate Expectations:
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, ideally within healthcare or complex care settings.
* Strong knowledge of UK healthcare regulations and quality standards.
* Proven leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a track record in staff management and development.
* Experience with People Planner, Access Care Planning, and Access Care Compliance is essential.
* Analytical problem-solving abilities and proficiency in IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operational Management: Oversee daily operations across Coordination, Administration, and Recruitment teams, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes. Line manage department managers and implement operational improvements.
* Quality Assurance: Develop and enforce quality assurance policies, conduct audits, and identify areas for improvement to ensure the highest service standards.
* Staff Management: Lead, mentor, and develop team members, manage recruitment and retention strategies, and conduct performance evaluations.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with clients, families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders, acting as the primary contact for issue resolution.
* Service Delivery: Ensure high-quality, person-centred care delivery, monitor service performance, and coordinate care plans with healthcare professionals.
* Regulatory Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, conduct safety audits, and maintain a safe working environment.
* Out of Hours Management: Participate in the on-call rota for escalations and ensure advanced rota planning.
Interview Process: The interview process will include an initial phone screening, followed by a competency-based interview with the Operations Director. A final interview will involve meeting key team members and discussing role-specific scenarios to assess your fit for this critical position.
Location: You would be situated in their Richmond Office for 5 Days a week and is commutable from most of London.
