The role of Senior Care and Support Assistant will include: Leading a team of Care and Support Assistants and ensuring that customers are being supported in the best way possible Providing personal care and encouraging customers to maximise their independence and personal potential, by building confidence, resilience and self-esteem Promoting safe practices and undertaking risk assessments as well as managing and implementing safeguarding principles to ensure the health, safety and security of our customers Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers Completing supervisions Skills and experiences: Previous experience supervising staff is desirable Recent experience of working in a similar role with vulnerable people is necessary NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care, or willing to work towards is essential Personalised approach to care with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to form positive relationships with people from varied backgrounds Enthusiastic and flexible with a strong "can-do" attitude Strong organisational skills as well as functional literacy and numeracy Are you ready to be your best?
