Deputy Care Home Manager

SALARY:
£14.60 - £15.20* per hour
Accomplish Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Care Home Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will assist the Care Home Manager in the daily operations of our care home, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support to our residents.
About Glebe
Glebe Road is a registered Mental Health service supporting up to six people, offering various accommodation options including flats and studios. The service provides 24-hour support from a skilled staff team with clinical input. It is designed to facilitate a gradual transition to more independent living, following the Recovery Star Model to help individuals develop skills and confidence in managing their mental health relapse strategies. This model supports progression towards supported living and offers cost-effective placements for commissioners.
As a Deputy Manager
* Support the Care Home Manager in managing the facility, including staff, residents, and administration.
* Assist with recruitment, training, supervision, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
* Oversee resident assessments, care planning, and implementation, meeting individual needs.
* Monitor and improve the quality of care provided.
* Maintain accurate records, including resident files, staff schedules, and financial documents.
* Act as a contact for residents, families, and external stakeholders, addressing concerns professionally.
* Ensure compliance with legislation, regulations, and policies, fostering a safe environment.
* Participate in meetings and training for team development.
Requirements
* Proven experience in healthcare or social care roles.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, Diploma in Health and Social Care).
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Compassionate attitude towards residents and colleagues.
* Knowledge of legislation and regulations, including CQC standards.
* IT proficiency, including care management systems.
