Maintenance Engineer required to join a well-established supplier of diesel injectors and pumps based in the Slough area. They are looking to hire an in-house maintenance engineer to repair and maintain their range of Diesel injectors. The ideal candidate will have Diesel Engine experience, be mechanically biased, and be based locally to Egham.
Maintenance Engineer Position Overview
1. Clean, disassemble, and assemble diesel fuel injection components for injectors and pumps.
2. Use chemical and mechanical cleaning equipment with fuel injection components.
3. Control test procedures and record data using computer systems and software.
4. Use measuring equipment such as micrometers, callipers, indicators, and air gauging equipment.
5. Test, inspect, and assemble injection components.
6. Perform various administrative tasks when required.
Maintenance Engineer Position Requirements
1. Previous experience within a mechanical discipline (Automotive, HGV, Plant, etc.).
2. Previous experience with Diesel Engines.
3. Manual machining experience is highly beneficial.
4. Experience in superfinishing is advantageous.
5. Must be detail-oriented and results-driven.
6. Able to work within a team and independently.
7. Able to handle time and output pressure.
8. Must be within a commutable distance of Egham.
Maintenance Engineer Position Remuneration
1. Full-time, Monday to Friday, 08:00 am - 6:00 pm.
2. Overtime available on request.
3. 28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays).
4. Pension scheme.
