We are seeking to appoint a Study Coordinator 1 to join our dedicated clinical team in Merseyside, Liverpool. This is an extremely busy department, this role would best suit someone who enjoys a fast-paced working environment and has a keen eye for the details. The core hours are Monday to Friday 08:30 to 16:30, however, for this role there may be a requirement to work out of business hours to accommodate study needs. KEY SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS: BSc Biomedical science or equivalent in a related field (essential) Experience in any one or more of the following (essential): Laboratory sample preparation and storage Taking patient vitals and venipuncture/phlebotomy Healthcare Support Worker Methodical approach to busy work schedule Administrative duties, data entry and record keeping RESPONSIBILITIES: Clinical Activities Patient and Customer Care Laboratory Pharmacy Data Management Commercial Awareness Professional and Self Development Health & Safety, Equality & Diversity, SOP, policy, legislation and guideline compliance PHYSICAL, WORK ENVIRONMENT, TRAVEL DEMANDS: Potentially long periods standing. Dealing with bodily fluids. Long periods looking at a computer screen. Meeting deadlines and working within strict timelines. Ability to travel between sites if required. Ability to travel to national / international meetings.
