Job Responsibilities
As a Graphic Designer at GAFFER, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Designing impactful visuals for print and digital platforms, including marketing campaigns, social media, website assets, and event collateral.
* Creating motion graphics, animations, and video edits to elevate storytelling across all brand channels.
* Collaborating closely with the Creative Director to develop concepts and execute designs that align with the brand’s aesthetic and strategic vision.
* Producing layouts for editorial content, ensuring alignment with GAFFER's unique tone and style.
* Designing and managing assets for e-commerce, product launches, and seasonal collections.
* Developing branding and identity assets for events, activations, and partnerships.
* Staying on top of cultural trends within sports, music, fashion, and art to inform design strategies.
* Managing multiple projects with competing deadlines, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
* Maintaining consistent brand guidelines across all creative outputs.
* Collaborating with internal teams, photographers, videographers, and external agencies to deliver cohesive visuals.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
* A degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
* A strong portfolio showcasing experience across print, digital, motion, and video projects.
* A keen interest in and understanding of sports, music, fashion, and culture.
* A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and bring fresh ideas to the table.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* A proactive and collaborative attitude, with a willingness to contribute to a fast-paced, creative environment.
* A passion for innovation and an eye for contemporary design trends.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Proven skills in:
* Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro).
* Motion graphics and animation.
* Video editing and storytelling.
