Strong background in project administration inc. change, risk and subcontractor management is essential. Responsibility for the timely production of accurate expenditure forecasts, monthly project(s) cost and value reports, including subcontractor account management, forecast outturn cost (latest best estimates). Knowledge of ECC NEC contracts, programme critical path analysis and earned value reporting. Identifies and communicates performance issues to senior quantity surveyor.
Key responsibilities:
1. The management of a number of projects inc. reporting and the provision of information for KPI reporting inc. the timely production of accurate expenditure forecasts, monthly project cost and value reports, change and risk registers, together with forecast outturn position (latest best estimates).
2. Proven track record in being able to manage subcontractor set up and accounts and to develop strong working relationships
3. Experienced in budget and cost loading of project programmes and earned value management.
4. The ability to communicate to the wider project team to highlight issues / risks that may impact project timescales.
5. Interface with Amey Binnies delivery team and supplychain in design and project issues.
6. Attendance and reporting at monthly project meetings
7. The completion of Amey Binnies staff assessment and development requirements
8. Working with senior management to find ways to improve project execution
Essential experience:
9. Experience of civil engineering sector on wastewater infrastructure related projects
10. Experienced in the commercial management and administration of projects throughout Capex 2 – Capex 6 phases of projects
11. Experience in basic civil engineering estimating / quotation development from first principles
12. Experience in earned value analysis/reporting
13. Experience in risk identification and its management
14. A good level of IT literacy (MS Office suite of projects)
15. A clean driving License (no more than 3 points)
Desirable:
16. Experience in waste water projects
17. Knowledge of SW CISP system and Cx governance requirements
