We are looking for an experienced class teacher to join our team for a Year 3 maternity cover contract.
Class Teacher – Year 3, part time, Monday to Wednesday
Payscale: Main Pay Scale
Start date: January 2025
To be successful in this role, you will ideally:
1. Have experience of working as a class teacher in at least one other primary setting
2. Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
3. Be enthusiastic, ambitious and serious about improving children’s life chances through education
4. Be highly organised, conscientious and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload
5. Be able to work cooperatively and communicate clearly with fellow colleagues, parents and pupils
6. Have a ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to use their initiative
7. Be able to work flexibly and professionally
Qualifications Needed:
1. A recognized teaching qualification (QTS)
2. Experience in teaching in Year 3
3. A strong understanding of the national curriculum
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
