Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and confident Contract Compliance Manager to join our dynamic team at Nourish, a leading software provider for the care sector. The ideal candidate will take ownership of our contract compliance process working in collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure commercial contractual terms are adhered to within customer contracts. Working as part of the Operations team within the Legal and Compliance team and reporting into the Head of Legal and Compliance, this role will work collaboratively with multiple teams across different areas of the business. It is essential that this person is a confident communicator (both internally and externally), highly organised and has the ability to work with large volumes of data. They will also have strong alignment with the mission of the organisation and able to balance commercial goals and objectives with customer sentiment and the organisational values and beliefs. Key Responsibilities: Contract Compliance & Uplift Identification : Oversee compliance with existing contract terms and conditions, ensuring customers adhere to their contractual commitments. Identify and secure potential uplifts and additional revenue opportunities tied to contract terms both upon renewal and at annual anniversaries. Renewals Support : Support the account management team by providing guidance on renewals processes and collaborating on compliance aspects to maximise renewal rates and revenue retention. Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams, including account management, finance, legal, and sales, to ensure contractual compliance, facilitate smooth renewal processes, and align on any compliance-related customer requirements. Compliance Reporting & Analysis : Track and report on compliance metrics, contract performance, and uplift opportunities. Provide insights and data to leadership, highlighting areas for improvement and operational efficiency. Process Optimization for Compliance : Continuously improve the contract compliance and renewal support processes to enhance efficiency, ensure consistency, and elevate the overall customer experience, particularly regarding contractual obligations. Renewals Strategy Support : Partner with the account management team to develop a forward-looking strategy for renewals, incorporating insights from compliance metrics and incorporating upsell opportunities based on customer needs and contract potential. Key Skills & Experience: Contractual Expertise : Strong understanding of contract structures, compliance requirements, and a proven ability to enforce contractual obligations and identify potential uplifts. Analytical Mindset : Proficient in using data and metrics to drive compliance and renewal decisions, with experience analysing contract compliance trends and revenue impact. Communication & Stakeholder Management : Excellent communication skills for engaging with both external clients and internal teams, providing updates on compliance status and renewal opportunities, and ensuring clear communication of contract terms and obligations. Process Management : Experience in optimising processes, especially those related to contract compliance and renewals, and a proactive approach to improving operational efficiency. CRM & Contract Tools Proficiency : Experience with CRM and contract management systems (e.g., HubSpot, DealHub, Chargebee), with a strong capability to leverage these tools for compliance tracking and renewal insights. SaaS Industry Knowledge : Familiarity with SaaS business operations, software licensing models, and contract management within a high-growth software environment. Qualifications: Experience : 3 years in a contract compliance, renewals management or related operations role within the software/SaaS industry. This position requires a compliance-focused professional who can strategically support renewals by ensuring adherence to contractual terms, and working collaboratively with account management / customer success to drive retention and revenue growth.
