About the role
Our client is an established business who supply Offshore and Construction Industries within the UK and Ireland. Due to continued growth and success within the sector, an established business is looking to recruit a Sales Support role for their business development function in the Cramlington office.
Supporting the Business Development Managers with identifying and delivering future business opportunities, including:
1. Support the business development team with account management and new opportunities
2. Develop knowledge and undertaking of products, services and client base
3. Develop knowledge of key market sectors
4. Build and nurture key client relationships
5. Identify and research business development opportunities and projects
6. Communicate with new and existing customers at all levels
7. Monitor and respond to business enquiries as required
8. Assist BDM with small projects and handle until completion
9. Maintain CRM with current and potential customers details and making sure information is up to date
10. Organise, arrange and attend industry exhibitions, conferences and seminars.
About you:
11. Previous experience in a Sales Support related role
12. Able to speak with new and existing customers at all levels
13. Ability to cold call
14. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Teams/ Zoom, SharePoint and SalesForce
15. Excellent customer service skills
