The University of York continues to set ambitious targets for student recruitment at a time of increasing competition. Improving engagement with prospective Undergraduate and Postgraduate students and driving applications and conversion to enrolment, plays a critical role in helping deliver these targets. Marketing, Admissions, Recruitment and Outreach (MRAO) use market-leading Microsoft Dynamics tech stack to power its on-campus resourced CRM activity. The same kit also powers conversion funnel CRM via an integration with an experienced HE marketing agency. Together they support the delivery of these objectives, and the post-holder will play a leading role in both developing and maximising the impact of this capability whilst seeking to shape the University of York’s future CRM vision. As an important member of the MRAO team, the main purpose of the CRM Manager role includes: Planning, supporting, and delivering CRM activity in collaboration with a range of internal stakeholders. Putting the customer (student) at the heart of everything we do. Identifying key touchpoints within the student decision-making process, complementing them with highly targeted and measurable communications to drive engagement and increase conversion to enrolment. Leading CRM processes (including BAU) and wider development relating to the student recruitment funnel. Playing a leading role in managing and developing the University’s CRM capabilities. Defining tactics and plans to support the wider student recruitment strategy. Ensuring data quality and measurability forms the heart of all CRM initiatives. Activity will span across pre- and post- application events, admissions processes (such as the UCAS cycle), and Strategic Information Technology Systems (SITS). Working closely within MRAO as well as other University departments, particularly marketing and conversion, to deliver a joined-up and effective approach to CRM. If you have extensive experience in managing and developing Dynamics 365 and believe you can deliver the vision and operational delivery of this key function, we would like to hear from you. We offer family friendly, flexible working arrangements, with forums and inclusive facilities to support our staff. EqualityatYork
