About the role
Part of the Distribution Centre clerical team that provides planning clerical support and reporting to the Distribution Centre team. Works closely with the Finance Analyst, People Support Administrator and Warehouse Service Shift Managers to ensure resource is in the right place at the right time.

You will be responsible for
* Updating the labour scheduling model to plan manpower requirements and produce a cost effective forecast for the Distribution Centre.
* Reviewing week to date performance including Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and profit and loss lines.
* Reviewing 12 week capability plans/forecasts and recruitment.
* Communicating any impacts and events to Distribution Support Office (DSO).
* Updating Key Performance Indicators (KPI); Trunking Station, Cost per Man Hour (CPMH) spreadsheet, Agency hours for Warehouse, Agency hours for Transport and overtime for shift Transport.
* Planning ahead with the Warehouse Service Shift Managers and Distribution Centre Manager for events for example, Christmas.
* Preparing forecast/volumes for the following week.
* Completing the Warehouse Service Shift Manager trackers so they are clear on what is going on for their shifts and can review performance.
* Completing the week to date volume to ensure we get to the week to date figures.
* Updating the plan with Warehouse Service Shift Manager(s) and agree current shift plan plus any other changes to the hours, agency, pick or Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
* Updating job sheets via job rotation for the next day and communicate out to Warehouse Service Shift Managers.
* Running holiday reports on Work Force Central (WFC) every day and highlight off on holiday books and use to do job rotation.
* Liaising with the People & Safety Manager to understand the master training plan and ensure planned training is taken into account on the warehouse plan.
* Following our Business Code of Conduct and Data Protection Law, always acting with integrity and due diligence.
